About the Role
The Digital Product Designer combines brand design expertise with user interface design for B2B digital products. Responsibilities include defining and executing the visual identity of a product, creating brand-aligned look and feel, icons, fonts, textures, and design systems, as well as developing mood boards and style guides. The role also includes translating wireframes into detailed UI designs that incorporate both visual and interaction design best practices.

Contract (not full-time), Project-Based with Potential to Grow | Remote (U.S.-based)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop brand-aligned visual concepts including color palettes, typography, iconography, textures, and imagery
• Create and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across product experiences
• Produce mood boards, style tiles, and creative direction assets that guide the overall look and feel
• Translate wireframes into high-fidelity UI designs that combine visual design and interaction patterns
• Design UI components, screens, and layouts for web and mobile B2B applications
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet brand and usability standards
• Present and iterate on designs based on client and internal feedback
• Document design guidelines to support scalability and handoff to development teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years in digital product design, with experience in both brand design and UI design for B2B products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, and design system work
• Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools for UI and brand design
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, style guides, and component libraries
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to translate wireframes and UX concepts into refined, pixel-perfect interfaces
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Bonus: Experience with motion design or micro-interactions

Compensation: Hourly contract rate, commensurate with experience ($50-$90/hour)
